Museums & Galleries

London is home to some of the best museums and galleries in the world. Even better - a fair few of them have free entry, making them a great option on a budget.

They are, however, enormous, and can be daunting if you don't know them well. Join me for a tour where we pick out the highlights and secret nooks and crannies, turning them from a maze to a treasure trove.

National Gallery

From Van Eyck to Van Dyck, Monet to Manet, Canaletto to Caravaggio, the National Gallery is home to some of the best artists in Western European art.

British Museum

Travelling the whole world in one building, from Egypt to the British Isles, via Mesopotamia, Africa and the Americas. Come and discover the extensive mummies collection the Rosetta Stone, and come face to face with Pharaoh Ramses himself.

Victoria & Albert Museum (V&A)

The huge V&A museum is the home of decorative arts and design in London. From the enormous cast courts to the glittering jewellery and the fun and creative theatre gallery, there is something here for everyone.
