About the Event
On this tour we are going to walk in the footsteps of Kings and Queens as we head into the coronation church, finding out about the famous names buried here, and looking at some of the secrets and details of this UNESCO world heritage site.
There are around 3000 people buried in this building of over 750 years of history, some you may not expect to find. As we go through the Abbey, we will take a look at some of the most famous and surprising residents, plus find out about some of the huge events which have taken place over the years since William the Conqueror's coronation in 1066.
The ticket price includes entrance into the Abbey, although if you wish to visit the Diamond Jubilee galleries, this is an extra cost of £5 which can be booked on site on the day.
