About the Event
For centuries the area around Smithfields has been home to gory goings-on. We are on the trail of martyrs and murderers, body snatchers and severed limbs, plague pits and martyrs, rebels and revolutionaries. And we're in luck, because they are plentiful!
We will be exploring one of London's most historic areas, looking at the places that have seen some of the most bloody and curious history. There will also be secret alleyways, wife selling, hidden rivers and the tour includes entrance into a beautiful church which is key in the story of the area. Included in the price is a donation to the church for access
